Beaned for Blood





What can I say? I’m a fiend for cake. I’m also a keeper of de cake… A freshly baked cake makes me squeal like a pig

I also get really excited when I can incorporate weird and/or healthy elements into baking. Hence, I decided to make this cake with beans. Black BEANS! Here I present “Beaned for Blood.”

Believe it or not, the chocolate icing was made with black beans. The logo was fashioned out of white chocolate. And the “blood” was made with cherry syrup, while the interior of the cake also featured a cherry filling in between three layers of chocolate cake. ALL of it was delicious, a heavenly delight. Death is sweet.
